Cyber Monday Deals 2019

The fall is finally here in all its glory. After all, we’re bracing up for three big American holidays—Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.

When it comes to sales, nothing really is as massive and crazy as the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping sprees, which jointly make up the biggest shopping weekend of the year. Whether it’s the new PlayStation, music system or any piece of tech that you’ve been eyeing for so long, there is absolutely no better time to snag the products from your wishlist at a generous discount. Well, Black Friday has been around the corner for some time now, but what’s the deal with the Cyber Monday? Is it any better than the Black Friday? How can I get my hands on best deals?

We’re going to answer all of these questions for you.

What is Cyber Monday?

In simple words, Cyber Monday is basically an extension of Black Friday. However, you don’t have to stand in queues for hours and experience the mayhems of the supermarket because absolutely every deal is on the internet. You can sit at your desk and pretend to work while you have 10 extra tabs open on browser to skim and find the best deals.

Most businesses offer a continuation of their Black Friday sales into Cyber Monday, frequently dropping prices even further, which means that there’s a good chance that you will find even better and inexpensive deals.

When will Cyber Monday 2019 start?

Cyber Monday always falls on the Monday after the Black Friday, which is December 2. It is just a month away now! We’re already seeing amazing deals from our favorite retailers. Best Buy is advertising offers vigorously with discounts as much as $300 on selected laptops. Likewise, Walmart is deducting Apple Watch’s price to $199 from $379 and Target is dropping bang-on deals that are too good to be true for camera lovers.

Just like the Black Friday deals have crept into October, we are positive that Cyber Monday deals will creep into Thanksgiving. On top of that, with 2019’s shorter holiday season, retailers have more incentive than ever to start their Cyber Monday deals as soon as possible.

Tip: There’s one factor that shoppers need to take into account ahead of Cyber Monday. On the 15th of December, a new round of tariffs will kick in, taxing popular holiday items like tablets, phones, and laptops. It’s obvious that retailers won’t take the hit themselves and pass it on to consumers, so we recommend that you check buy holiday gifts before the taxes come into the effect.

When did Cyber Monday first start?

It might be hard to believe but Cyber Monday is very young. It started as a fad in 2005 when buying anything off the internet was very unusual, but boy has it come a long way. Before it was natural to shop online, e-commerce stores started running their own big sales to compete with brick-and-mortar stores and their Black Friday sales.

If you’re curious why it’s on Monday and not on weekends, turns out that people love to shop when they’re at office using high-speed internets and fast computers. Remember the dial-up internet connection at your home in the 2000s? Good old time!

Cyber Monday extended to Cyber Week?

For the last couple of years, we have seen retailers trying to extend their Cyber Monday deals by dubbing them Cyber Week deals. The term and the trend are still in infancy, but retailers are actively trying to encourage consumers to continue shopping well after Cyber Monday ends.

Not many may know, but best deals often occur over the 5-day period after the Cyber Monday, as retailers desperately try to sell their stocks even after the Black Friday and Cyber Monday hype has subsided.

Cyber Monday 2019 – Predictions

Adobe Analytics forecasts that Cyber Monday will shatter all the records in 2019. The report states that Cyber Monday will become the largest and fastest growing online shopping day of the year with $9.4 billion in sales, an increment of whopping 18.9% year over year.

Deal Predictions

There’s no go-to store for best Cyber Monday deals, which is the best part about it. You can shop from ten different retailers at the same time. That said, there are certain retailers we at LOR recommend you shop at if you’re looking for particular deals. These recommendations are based on our study of previous editions of Cyber Mondays, the trends in the market, and the hints dropped by the retailers.

The best AirPods deals will most likely come from Walmart. If you are looking for jaw-dropping prices on cameras, Target is the one for you. Likewise, Best Buy and Walmart are predicted to offer bomb deals on smart TVs. So, make sure to keep an eye out since these deals are being sold like hot cakes!
